From the first rockabilly notes of Thats Alright Mama, to the jumping Latin sound of Viva Las Vegas, you know Elvis is in the building. And you know youre in for some fun.
Graceland
is on-stage and theyre going to rock you back to the days of The King with
songs you remember well. These are the songs of a 19 year-old kid in Memphis
who forever changed the face of Rock and Roll. Theyre the songs from Las Vegas
where Elvis dazzled audiences for a decade with his presence, his costumes and
most importantly, his voice. So whether youre a fan of the early Elvis or the
later one, Jeff, John and Fin will deliver. This is more than music. Its a
show.
Jeff
has spent a decade perfecting the look, the sound, and the moves of his idol.
From the first time a decade ago in New Orleans when he tentatively took the
stage and women ripped his shirt off, Jeff knew he had something. And it's more
than the voice because Jeff's costumes match the music. His outfits include
leather for early Elvis, and a spectacular sequin-studded jumpsuit for the later
period.
Fin
plays lead guitar like he was born with one in his hands. Hes been a major
player in the local music scene for a long time. He lays down clean, bright
riffs on top of the background sound to really punch up, and round out, the
sound.
John
likes to joke that hes been a musician since the songs he plays were on the
radio the first time, and he sets the foundation for the music with solid, hot
bass lines that make you tap your foot and get up and dance. He also steps in
on vocals to fill out the sound.
These
guys really know how to rock on-stage and bring the music to life. And theyre
wireless, so they can (and do) come off the stage and into the audience to make
this an intimate experience. Its also a real kick for them to show their stuff.
So
if youre in the mood for some great music, check this act out. Youll smile
all night and remember the evening for a long time.
